Design Division - Open Class
Class:
1. TURFWAY PARK — A design using primarily roses, foliage permitted.
2. MARY INGLES TRAIL — Red and yellow flowers designed in a basket not to
exceed 15 inches, foliage permitted.
3. THE GHOST SHIP — A design depicting motion.
4. SPLIT ROCK — A miniature design not to exceed 5 inches.
5. BOONE COUNTY DISTILLERY IN PETERSBURG — A design pleasing to a
man.
6. CVG AIRPORT —A design vertical in feeling.
7. STRIKE UP THE BAND — A design using all white.
8. BOONE COUNTY ARBORETUM — A design using tints, tones and shades of
green.
9. ANDERSON FERRY — A design incorporating driftwood with fresh material.
10. DINSMORE HOMESTEAD — A design created in a keepsake container.
11. FARMERS MARKET — A design incorporating fruit and/or vegetables with fresh
material.
12. HISTORIC COURTHOUSE — Designer’s choice using a variety of flowers.
Novice Class - One who has not won a blue ribbon in a previous flower show.
